The site required complete boundary retaining. A series of 1 metre high concrete sleeper walls bordered the perimeter of the large site, with steel I beams going into the ground 2mm, with a fence installed on top of the wall creating a complete corrosion resistant system.
Large lockable gates also offer privacy and get rear access for our clients.
the rear yard we built a series of Versablock walls and steps to help the lower garden area meet the entertainment space of the home.
The “Sir Walter Buffalo” lawn was framed with a Havenbrick paver boarder and fitted with a completely automatic watering system including 12mp rotator pop up sprinklers.
We also planted out the front and rear gardens with a mixture of low maintenance plantings, all watered by another electronic watering system
The front garden included a limestone rock retaining wall, which we used stone from the site to build.
The clients wanted a feature to lead their guest to the front door, so we laid a stunning Travertine path, bordered with a Havenbrick edge and filled with Mt Compass Pebbles.
To finish off the whole project we spread 12m3 of graded pine bark mulch to all the garden beds along with preparing and compacting the side driveway, finishing off with 60mm coverage of 20mm screenings, planting out front and rear gardens and installing the clients clothesline.
